Abadi liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

Location
Masela block, Indonesia, in water depths of 400 to 800 m.

Project Owner/s
INPEX Masela (65%), Pertamina (20%) and Petronas (15%).

Project Description
Abadi has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The facility will have a peak production capacity of 9.5-million tons a year of LNG, up to 35 000 bbl/d of condensate and 150-million standard cubic feet a day of pipeline gas.

INPEX is steadily proceeding with the necessary development preparation work for the final investment decision such as obtaining environmental- and social-impact assessments and related approvals, securing land for the project, marketing activities for LNG sales and financing discussions.
